# How Custom Price Calculator pricing works

Custom Price Calculator has one plan that grows with your sales. You start at $19.99 a month, and in each 30-day billing period your price is set by how much your calculators sold in the previous period. Every current plan includes every feature and unlimited calculators.
## The plans
* Starter: up to $1,000 of custom product revenue in 30 days, $19.99 a month
* Growth: $1,000 to $5,000, $29.99
* Scale: $5,000 to $10,000, $49.99
* Advanced: $10,000 to $20,000, $79.99
* Premium: $20,000 to $30,000, $119.99
* Elite: $30,000 to $50,000, $179.99
* Enterprise: from $50,000, $249.99
You never pay more than $249.99 a month, whatever you sell.
## What counts as custom product revenue
The money customers paid for products your calculator priced: the price your calculator set, times quantity, after discounts, not including shipping. Other items in the same order do not count. Amounts are converted to US dollars.
Example: a customer orders a 2 m by 3 m blind your calculator priced at $240, plus a $15 cord from your regular catalogue. $240 counts toward your plan, the $15 does not.
## Your free trial
New stores get 10 days free, and development stores are free. Sales during the trial are free and are not counted, although the Plan tab shows them so you can see what your calculators are doing. When the trial ends, the counter starts from zero for your first billing period.
## How billing works
* Shopify bills you every 30 days, on your Shopify bill like any other app.
* When you approve the app, Shopify shows "$19.99 every 30 days, plus usage charges up to $230.00". The $19.99 is the Starter price. The usage charge is the difference between Starter and your plan for that period, so Growth is $19.99 plus $10.00, and the two together can never pass $249.99.
* Each charge on your bill names the plan and the sales it was based on, for example "Growth, $1,998 in sales of calculator-priced products, Oct 19 to Nov 17".
## Moving between plans
Plans move up on their own. If your custom product revenue in a period crosses into the next plan, that plan is what you are billed for the period, and it becomes your plan going forward.
Plans do not move down on their own. If a strong month moved you up and your sales have settled, open Billing, then Plan, and select the lower plan. The change applies from your next billing period. If a later period's sales cross a higher plan again, you move up again.
You can also select a higher plan at any time, with no new approval screen.
## Where to see it
In the app, go to Billing, then Plan. The meter shows your current plan, how far you are through the period, your custom product revenue so far and the next plan's limit. "See the orders behind this number" lists every order that counted, linked to your Shopify admin.
## Questions
### I sell in a currency other than US dollars
Your sales are converted to US dollars at the exchange rate for the day of each order. Your Shopify bill is still in your usual billing currency.
### Do refunds reduce my revenue?
No. Refunds and cancelled orders are not subtracted from the period they were sold in.
### I was already a customer before this change
Nothing changes for you. You keep the plan you have, at the same price, until you switch. The old Pro plan does not include Translations or Customer currency display. If you would like to move to the current pricing, open Billing → Plan in the app and select a plan; your current plan stays until you do. See [How to upgrade your plan](https://support.custompricecalculator.com/en/article/how-to-upgrade-your-plan-1ccfdi1/).
### I uninstalled and reinstalled the app
A reinstalled store joins the current pricing.
