Can I Export or Import Calculator Data?

Merchants who run many similar calculators, or who manage large pricing tables, often ask whether calculator configurations or their underlying data can be exported and imported. Here is how it works today.

Data Lookup tables (import/export of pricing data)

If your pricing depends on a lookup table (for example a grid of sizes and prices, or material-by-area rates), the Data Lookup element is the right tool. Data Lookup lets you manage large sets of values in a structured table rather than hard-coding them into a formula.

  • Use Data Lookup when you have many price points that change together (a rate card, a size chart, tiered pricing).
  • Updating the table updates every calculation that references it — no need to edit the formula each time.
  • This is the recommended way to manage bulk pricing data.

Duplicating a calculator (reusing a configuration)

If your goal is to reuse a calculator's setup across similar products rather than move raw data:

  1. Open the calculator you want to reuse.
  2. Use the Duplicate option to create a copy.
  3. Assign the copy to the new product(s) and adjust only what differs.

This is the fastest way to replicate a working configuration without rebuilding it.

Moving data between stores

If you use Apippa on more than one store (for example a store in another language or currency) and want to reuse the same setup, contact support with both store URLs. The team can advise on the cleanest way to replicate your calculators and lookup tables between stores.
